Content Related - FAQ

You are here because you need more answers on how to get started. We got you!

What file size are we looking for?

You can work with the following sizes depending on your content format:

  • 1080 x 1350 px (portrait - recommended for feed posts)
  • 1080 x 1080 px (square - works for feed posts)
  • 1080 x 1920 px (story/reel size - recommended for vertical video)
  • Accepted formats are JPEG, PNG, MOV, and MP4

Please provide us with the size that you are working with. It can be 1080 px x 1350 px (portrait), or you can provide us with a square-sized image/video (1080 px x 1080 px). This totally depends on your own brand. For videos, ensure the resolution is at least 1080p to achieve the best quality when running ads.

If you are uploading 1080 x 1920 (story size), make sure all text, logos, and key visual elements stay within the center 1080 x 1350 px area of your image or video. This ensures nothing gets cropped when your content runs across different placements.

What type of content should I upload?

We are looking for videos and static images. Here is a breakdown of what performs best:

Video Examples:

  • Aesthetic ASMR-style clips or quick cuts of a product in use - satisfying, clean, and visually engaging.
  • "Hack" videos - content that positions a product as a solution or life hack (examples: cleaning hacks, travel packing hacks, organization tips). These tend to have strong hooks and high engagement.
  • Aesthetic organizational videos - quick-cut transformations or setup reveals (examples: pantry organization, fridge restocking, desk setup). These perform especially well in home and lifestyle niches.
  • Every video should open with a** hook** - something that stops the scroll in the first 1-2 seconds. Think bold text on screen, a satisfying action, or a curiosity-driving statement

Static Image Examples:

  • Mood board style - lifestyle-driven, aspirational imagery that groups products around a theme (examples: perfect vacation outfit, affordable summer fashion inspo, cozy home aesthetic). These work great for linking to collection pages or Idea Lists.
  • Aesthetic image with a simple text overlay - clean visuals with a short, punchy line of text. This can even be a screenshot of the hook portion of one of your videos repurposed as a static ad.
  • Keep text minimal and easy to read - let the visual do most of the work.

What products should I create content for?

Focus on products that are relevant to your niche, that you have personally used or genuinely recommend, and that have strong reviews (4 stars and above).

  • For Amazon creators, we recommend using JoyLink for product selection. JoyLink helps you identify high-performing products and allows you to find and filter by key commission metrics, making it a powerful tool for building a profitable content strategy.
  • When browsing for products to feature, prioritize adding CC (Creator Connections) and/or EPC (Earnings Per Click) products to your lists, collections, and storefront. Here is why it matters:
    • CC products offer an elevated commission rate specifically for content creators, meaning you earn more per sale compared to the standard affiliate rate.
    • EPC products indicate strong conversion history, these are products that shoppers actually buy after clicking. A high EPC means your content is more likely to translate into real earnings.
    • Combining both, products that are high-CC and high-EPC - is the sweet spot for maximizing your commissions without needing to drive massive traffic volume.
  • Daily Deals work best for trending, discounted, or high-demand products.
  • Mood boards and collections work well for seasonal themes or lifestyle categories (examples: kitchen essentials, home office setups, beauty routines).

Do's and Don'ts?

Moving forward, we will not be able to use Walmart's Logo or brand names in creatives. We will not launch any content that is utilizing the same fonts or logos as other brands due to copyright infringement.

  • Do not use copyrighted audio for videos.
  • If you are doing a video reveal and talking in a video, do not put a song over it -- just use your voice + ASMR sounds
  • Do not use watermarks, logos, or third-party branding in your content unless approved by our team
  • Do not make any specific income or earnings claims in your content (e.g., "This product made me $500!") -- this violates platform guidelines
  • We do not accept any images of children unless it's a stock image
  • Always upload content with the correct affiliate link attached, so our team can go ahead and start running your ads right away
  • Always make sure the product shown in the content matches the link you are providing. Mismatched content and links will cause delays

How often should I upload?

  • If you are doing Daily Deals, you should provide us with fresh content on a daily basis
  • If you are creating mood boards or videos, you can provide us with content on a weekly basis
  • Keep in mind, we need at least 15 to 20 pieces of content per week. If you have more, please provide - the more quality content you submit, the better your chances of running successful campaigns
  • Try to plan your content in advance and build a small content buffer, so you are never behind on submissions

What products should I create content for?

Focus on products that are relevant to your niche and that you have personally used or genuinely recommend. Products with strong reviews (4 stars and above), a competitive price point, and a good commission rate tend to perform best:

  • Daily Deals work best for trending, high-demand, or discounted products
  • Mood Boards and collections work well for seasonal themes, lifestyle niches, or product categories (e.g., kitchen essentials, home office setups, beauty routines)What happens if I stop uploading content?

Consistency is key to keeping your ads running and your earnings growing. If you stop uploading without notifying our team, your campaigns may end up underperforming. If you need a break or are going through a slow period, try to get some content prepared in advance so that you can take a breather.

Can I work with Social iQ and a third party running my ads?

In these cases, you will have to communicate that with our support team, and they will need to get approval for you. Keep in mind that if you are working with a third-party software and they are taking 50% of your earnings + 50% of your bonuses, it would work the same way with Social iQ. So, before joining the boosting program, ensure that you are fully aware of this information and comfortable with the split.
