How to Accept Partnership Request for Facebook?

There is one more step before you are fully done with the onboarding for Walmart Boosting!

Our team will send you a Partnership request to your Facebook account, that you will have to accept from your Meta Business Suite, so that we can run your ads with your social handle and target the correct audience.

So let's begin with the step up.

1️⃣ Accessing your Business Settings in Meta Business Suite

For this you can either wait for a notification on your Facebook account, Wait for our team to provide you with a link or click here for a quick access to your Meta Business Suite.

💡 Ensure that you are logged in into a correct Facebook account before click on the link/waiting for a notification.

Our team will provide you with a request on the page that you sent over during your onboarding.

2️⃣ Confirm the right Business Portfolio

You'll see your business name. Click it to switch portfolios if needed, make sure you're inside the portfolio that received the request.

3️⃣ Locating request that was sent from our team

In the left-hand menu, make sure that you're in "Settings", scroll down and click "Requests". This is located near the bottom of the left sidebar.

4️⃣ Locating the Pending Partnership Request

You'll see a list of incoming requests with the requesting partner's business name (Creator Finds IQ), our Business Portfolio ID, and the date the request was sent.

5️⃣ Review the request that was sent to you

Click on the request to expand the details. You'll be able to see:

Which assets we are requesting access to (Ad accounts, Pages, Instagram accounts).
What permission level we've requested.

6️⃣ Approving the request

Once you're satisfied with the details, hit Approve to confirm the partnership. Our team will be notified immediately and will gain access to the assets listed in the request.

⚠️ If the Approve button is greyed out or missing, it likely means you don't have sufficient admin rights on that portfolio. Only users with Full control of the Business Portfolio can approve partner requests. Contact whoever manages your Business Settings to complete this step.

⚠️ Important to know!

Your accounts have to be set to "Professional".
When sending the partnership request, we have to have both Facebook and Instagram connected to you account.
If you are working with other companies, we can have the same Facebook account connected for Partnership Ads, we just need to ensure we have different creatives.

How to connect my Instagram account to my Facebook?

1️⃣ Log in to your Facebook account

2️⃣ Navigate to your Business page

Go to your business page settings Navigate to your Facebook business page, then open its settings panel.
Your Business Page → Settings

3️⃣ Find the Linked Accounts section

In the left sidebar of Page Settings, scroll down to find the Instagram option. Settings → Linked Accounts → Instagram

4️⃣ Click "Connect Account"

You'll see a button to connect your Instagram account. Click it to begin the linking process. If you don't see this option, try accessing it through Meta Business Suite at business.facebook.com instead.

5️⃣ Log in to your Instagram

A pop-up window will appear asking for your Instagram credentials. Enter the username and password of the Instagram business or creator account you want to link. Your Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account, personal accounts cannot be linked. You can switch account type inside the Instagram app under Settings → Account.

6️⃣ Authorize the connection

Review the permissions and tap Authorize or Confirm to allow Facebook to connect to your Instagram account.
